Overview
The Vioz is all about breathable insulation and thermoregulation for stop-and-go mountain activities in autumn and winter in changing conditions.
Waterproof, windproof & breathable Powertex
Its lightweight 2.5-layer Powertex outer fabric is extremely breathable (MVTR: 40,000 g/m²/24h) and provides reliable weather protection (water column: 10,000 mm). It comes with a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) finish and welded seams.
Active insulation
The Vioz is engineered with Polartec® Alpha® Direct hybrid wool-blend insulation positioned behind a mesh liner at the front, back and the tops of the sleeves. It uses lofted fibres connected to a solid mesh core. The clever design releases excess body heat to prevent saturation and stop you overchilling in cold conditions. The additional wool content adds a further level of thermoregulation and wear comfort. This hybrid insulation is exclusive to SALEWA®.
Alpine detailing
For additional protection, the Vioz has a padded hood and the collar zips close right up to the chin. It features a zipped chest pocket and cordlock hem adjustment system to seal warmth in when you want it. With stretch-edged cuffs
